Introducing your hosts, JJ & Cindy
Hello and welcome to Whangarei. We are a couple from Taupo, New Zealand, with a deep passion for hospitality and a love for beautiful surroundings. Born in the 1980s, we spent 12 wonderful years in Taupo. While we appreciated Lake Taupo’s beauty, we were drawn to seaside cities with warmer climates, leading us to explore extensively across both the North and South Islands.
Our journey brought us to Whangarei, where we were captivated by the lush tropical plants and the enchanting gardenias in Town Basin Park. This love for gardenias, coupled with our desire for a new beginning, inspired us to make Whangarei our home.
In our professional lives, I have extensive experience in hotel cleaning and have run a successful family cleaning business for over a decade. Cindy has a strong background in retail and has managed her own guesthouse as well as those of friends. Our shared commitment to excellence and service has been the cornerstone of our careers.
Joining the Bella Vista family is an exciting new chapter for us. We were impressed by the efficient management and the supportive team behind Bella Vista, and we are eager to bring our exceptional service to our guests.
